One sitting, a real door

One hour and an internet connection. The highest scorers are invited to a Grand Final in the United States.

1

Science and mathematics together

Problems that sit where a subject meets the world, rather than inside one chapter of a textbook.

2

Taken from where you are

No travel, no exam centre, no invigilator to book. The round runs inside the olympiad's own panel.

3

Enter more than one

A student may sit several categories and win several medals. Each category is paid for separately.

Seven categories, by grade

Each category opens at a different grade. Check the range before paying: a wrong tier is not refundable.

Mathematics

Grades 3–11

The widest tier: one subject that runs from grade 3 all the way to grade 11.

Natural Science

Grades 3–8

Science before it splits into three. For students who have not yet specialised.

Physics

Grades 9–11

Opens at grade 9, where physics becomes a subject of its own.

Chemistry

Grades 9–11

Sits in the earlier exam window, two weeks ahead of the rest.

Biology

Grades 9–11

Shares its exam day with Chemistry, two hours later.

Coding

Grades 3–11

Listed on the official categories page, but no exam date or fee has been published for it yet.

Exam date and fee not yet announced

AI Prompt Engineering

Grades 6–11

The newest category. Like Coding, it has no published exam date or fee yet.

The camera is not optional

The camera must stay on throughout and the session is recorded. Cheating cancels the result.

The conditions worth reading first

  • Claims close 15 days after the results are announced.
  • The discount belongs to the winning student and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
  • It cannot be carried over to a future year, and cannot be taken as cash.
  • Winning in several categories still gives one discount only, and the largest one applies.
